In the wake of a comprehensive blow delivered to the base of human order by free-willed actors in a just populace would we learn our lesson or double down?
A code red for humanity assessed in its urgency as a lullaby
As the sun is swallowed up the smoke signals an incoming drone
Amid the flooding, the ruins, the frantic gestures to empathy and survival, the war god rears his head overtop shells and arrows
Those of us who were told to play along are thrust into combat
Lifetimes of promise the economic plus is worth it
Sights aimed at opponents we’d rather break bread with
The war god slowly nods overtop shells and arrows
Let’s give ourselves something to be proud of before it’s too late
What the fuck are we waiting for?
Warfare and collapse ain’t inevitable
What better time to turn the course than with survival in limbo?
I don’t want our only home - the land we know as sacred - sacrificed to make room for uninhabitable wasteland

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Blackened hardcore with the sheer heady power of stadium crust and the glacial melodies of second-wave black metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 10, 2023
The Brazilian metal outfit teaches a lesson in exemplary thrash, delivering palm-mute chugging, dexterous fretwork, and infuriated-but-intelligible vocals on every song Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 21, 2021

The song structures say Gorguts by way of Ion Dissonance. Guitar tone says Gojira by way of The Red Chord?! Interesting stuff, a big step up from their last album. Ghuughra
